Team Leader – Bosence Rehabilitation Service – Temporary for 6 Months
Starting Salary: £26,554 per annum

Job Description

This is an exciting post working within our drug and alcohol residential treatment services, leading the team to deliver the highest quality substance misuse treatment within our 12 Step rehabilitation service.

You will be a leader of people with motivational and negotiating skills. You will be inspirational, adaptable, open-minded, kind and compassionate and be able to ensure the quality of our treatment provision.

You will be responsible for the day to day organisation of the workflow in delivering high quality, effective and responsive residential treatment and care services at Bosence. You will hold a case load and act as a Key Worker. You will provide practice supervision to key workers, night and weekend workers and provide on call services on a rota basis.

You will have experience of working within substance misuse treatment, and experience of residential services would be an advantage. Holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. Social Work or Counselling) will also be an advantage.

The post requires an enhanced DBS check.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and pro-active individual to come and join our fantastic team to help provide excellent care in our Inpatient Substance Misuse Detox Clinic

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in Substance Misuse.

Job Summary
The post holder will support the Manager and Clinical Lead Nurse in the provision of nursing care. She/He will be part of a team that ensure the clients receive a high level of quality care in a safe environment.

The main duty of the role will be supporting caseload management of the wider team. This will involve assessing, planning and implementing clinical care whilst managing clients’ general health needs and responding to clinical and medical emergencies.

Managing crisis as first line intervention, assessing risk and safeguarding issues, responding and reporting appropriately within a risk management plan.

You will be providing 24 hour cover in shifts of 12.5 hours.

BANK / RELIEF RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKERS – Adult and Young Persons Services.

£9.50 per hour plus 14.5% enhancement to cover holiday entitlement.

Would you like to gain experience of working with people with addictions? We have opportunities for relief support workers in our inpatient detoxification, our specialist Young Person’s unit and our 12 step residential rehab services. Providing practical and emotional support to service users.

Some experience of drug and alcohol treatment would be an advantage. Certain posts require lone working. A full, clean driving licence is essential (plus Category D1 [minibus] for our rehab service).

Bank / Relief Cook

Holiday cover required for Chris, our cook in Boswyns detox/stabilisation service

The role involves catering for around 25 people for lunch and tea (e.g. soup, and a main such as pasta bake, and salad).  It involves a high level of contact with our service users and is an integral part of the wider team
